Corrosion Protection

SPG has extensive experience of corrosion control across a wide selection of industries and have committed to helping other companies develop their applicators skill set to make them more effective.

We liaise directly with all of the major international coating manufacturers and many specialist suppliers. Our company works with many principle contractors within the rail and highways industries developing more efficient coating processes enabling our customers to complete complicated projects in inclement weather conditions.

Our company directly employs a large team of ICATS and TTP qualified engineers who work within the rail, highways, marine, food processing, nuclear, mineral processing, oil, gas, sugar, waste to energy, waste water and utilities industries. Our technical team ranges from ICORR qualified inspectors to project engineers.

Alongside our core business we work with European suppliers on very advanced coating systems for corrosion protection.  These systems are designed to be applied to marginally prepared steel substrates for maximum corrosion protection.  The application of such product requires an in depth knowledge of plural component spray technology and the application of solvent free, high build materials.

Specialist Painting Group are the market leaders in steel corrosion control. Our technical team and engineers will support you with specification development and the installation of coating systems that will extend the working life of business critical assets
