Rail & Highway

The Rail industry has specific requirements for protective coatings as part of the industries preventative maintenance programme.  Coating systems must be tested and certificated to Network Rail standards prior to being used on any structure.

Network Rail and the London Underground have a vast number of steel structures that require maintenance on an ongoing basis. Many coating systems must have Network Rail and Transport for London approvals and pass rigorous testing prior to being used. The Rail industry demands highly durable coating systems designed to give long term protection against corrosion.

Our company is an approved coatings supplier to Network Rail and London Underground.  We provide support to clients utilising our knowledge of steel surface preparation and protective coating application.  With much of the work being carried during engineering hours, a firm understanding of rail safety is paramount.  Our company holds current RISQS certification via audit.  This health, safety and quality system runs in line with our ISO UKAS 9001 and 14001 systems.

All of our ICATS Engineers are PTS qualified and have many years experience working as a contractor within the rail industry. Coordinating traffic management, steelwork repairs and coating inspection, our projects team have the capabilities to undertake and deliver complex structures on schedule to the highest standards.
