Jacobs Crackers

Jacobs Crackers

SPG have recently compeleted the re-furbishment of several large mild steel process mixing bowls for a large food processing client.  Our customer had been experiencing problems with condensation forming on the outer surface of the mixing bowls.  These assets were mechancially prepared to achieve the required surface profile, with a two component, epoxy based insulated coating system being installed. This coating system was applied using plastic application tools to achieve a film thickness of 5mm, the surface temperature of the mixing bowls has been increased by 10ºC and has eliminated the condensation issue on site.
