Exova Warrington Fire

Exova Warrington Fire

SPG are working with Exova Warrington Fire on the application of modified epoxy intumescent fire protection.  Using plural component equipment designed specifically for passive fire protection (PFP) material our ICATS engineers have been supporting Exova with the application of new products that are being tested against specific British standards.

PFP products are designed to protect mild and hot dip galvanised steel against hydrocarbon jet and pool fires.  These products are used predominantly in the off shore industry and are capable of offering protection for fire durations of up to 3 hours.

Specialist Painting Group has extensive experience of passive fire protection applications.  Alongside this experience we have a sound technical understanding of plural component spraying equipment.  Our engineers work as approved applicators to many of the leading PFP manufacturers providing a specialist on site service across the UK and Europe.
