About Specialist Painting Group
Specialist Painting Group is an international coatings contractor that began trading in 1997 as a UK, Peterborough based commercial painting company with two employees.  SPG has become a well established, multi faceted company providing technical expertise to the industrial sector. Our company directly employs a specialist work force who operate across a diverse range of industries both off-site at our head office and painting facility in Peterborough and on-site across the UK and Europe. Today the company is run by three members of the Fallows family who are dedicated in their pursuit of excellence within an industry they have been involved in for many years

Corrosion Protection
Our core business provides steel corrosion control across a range of different market sectors including food processing, oil, gas, petrochemical, waste to energy, mineral processing, marine, rail, flood defence, civil, nuclear and utilities.  Our engineers have extensive experience of protecting valuable steel assets against corrosion using both specified and unspecified anti-corrosive coating systems.

Passive Fire Protection (PFP)
Our passive fire protection division specialise in the application of modified epoxy intumescent coating systems designed to protect steel assets from hydrocarbon jet and pool fires.  Our team of ICATS engineers have extensive experience of this complex application using plural component spray equipment.  We work with Airblast-Eurospray on the training and operation of all plural equipment.  Our company is a licensed applicator for M90/2, Chartek 7/8, Pitt Char, Jotachar and Pyroclad.  SPG also support Exova Warrington Fire with the application of new PFP systems prior to certification.

Ti220 has been designed as a system for insulation to epoxy passive fire protection, cryogenic spill protection, flare radiation protection, insulation for energy savings, CUI and safe touch applications.

We understand the need to develop coating technology in order to keep pace with our industry.  Through robust relationships with UK and international coatings manufacturers we are constantly looking to push the boundaries and offer clients dedicated coating systems to meet their specific requirements.

Our Commitment to Standards
Our company recognises that success is achieved through long term commitment to our staff, by helping them achieve their goals.
